Serving all of Florida

    Florida Cruise Planner

I plan cruises for Florida travelers leaving from every major Florida port: Tampa, Port Canaveral, Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and Jacksonville. Based in Wesley Chapel near Tampa, I know the drive times, the parking quirks, and the cruise lines worth flying to a different port for.

If you live anywhere in Florida and you cruise, I can usually save you time, headaches, and often money — without charging you a cent.

    Florida ports I plan most

Each Florida port has its own personality. The right port for your trip depends on which line you want, what itinerary, and how far you're willing to drive.

    • Port Tampa Bay — Carnival, Norwegian, Royal Caribbean and Celebrity seasonal sailings, mostly Western Caribbean
    • Port Canaveral — Disney's home port, plus Royal Caribbean (including Star of the Seas), Carnival, MSC, Norwegian
    • PortMiami — the busiest cruise port in the world; every major line including Virgin and MSC
    • Port Everglades (Fort Lauderdale) — Princess, Celebrity, Holland America, Royal, Celebrity, Cunard

What I do for Florida clients specifically

I help you weigh local convenience against itinerary quality. Sometimes a Tampa cruise saves you a flight and a hotel. Sometimes flying to Fort Lauderdale unlocks a far better ship for the same money. I'll show you the math, you make the call.

My service is always free. Cruise lines pay me directly, so the price you see on the cruise line's site already includes my commission. Book direct and that money just stays with them.

    Frequently asked questions

If you're in Tampa Bay, Port Tampa Bay is 35-60 minutes from most neighborhoods. From Orlando, Port Canaveral is about an hour. From South Florida, PortMiami and Port Everglades are 5-45 minutes apart.

Driving is almost always cheaper and more flexible if you're within a 3-4 hour radius. Beyond that, flying in the day before and staying in a port hotel is the safest play. I help clients decide every week.

Yes. I plan Alaska, Mediterranean, Hawaii, Northern Europe, and transatlantic sailings out of every major port worldwide. Florida is where most of my clients live, not a limit on what I book.

Yes. I compare every line, every promotion (Kids Sail Free, free drinks, OBC stacks), and every cabin category to find your real lowest price for the experience you actually want.

Port Canaveral and Port Tampa Bay are usually easiest for first-timers: smaller, simpler, easy parking. PortMiami is bigger and busier but unlocks the newest ships like Icon of the Seas.
